Six Sisters' Stuff is one of the most widely followed cooking and lifestyle blogs with 6.7 million page views per month and their most popular features are their fantastic dessert recipes. Whether quick-and-easy, imaginative show-stoppers, special occasion, holiday-themed or adorably cute and kid-friendly, this new Six Sisters' Stuff cookbook features 110 scrumptious homemade dessert recipes, covering every sweet tooth craving. Step-by-step instructions make it easy to create delicious and imaginative confections using pantry staples including: Mississippi Mud Brownies, Homemade Twix Bars, Nutella Cheesecake, Key Lime Cupcakes, Samoas Popcorn and includes a chapter on super-fast no-bake treats like Mini Peanut Butter Cup Trifles.  Sweets & Treats with Six Sisters' Stuff  also features imaginative ways to share and showcase your homemade confections including: Ways to Package Treats, Dessert Traditions, Desserts Kids Can Make, and Companion Dessert Craft Projects.

I'm not eating desserts right now so it might seem a little strange that I jumped at the chance to review a dessert cookbook. I love Six Sisters' Stuff and use another cookbook of theirs all the time (especially when I need to take a treat to an activity) so I was excited to see what this book contained.

This cookbook is absolutely perfect for someone like me. I enjoy baking more than cooking but I still don't like to take a lot of time. There are some more complex recipes in here but most of them are easy and don't take much time. They are filled with ingredients I've heard of and I have quite a few ingredients already on hand. I also love that they have pictures of every recipe so you get an idea of what it will look like, and that definitely makes more of them appealing.

My daughter and I sat down and went through it page by page making a list of the recipes we wanted to bake. It was pretty long and with not too many days before my review, we were only able to get to a few of them. My daughter loves Red Velvet and they have a recipe for brownies and cake in here. The brownies were a hit! She also really liked the Cake Batter Blondies. She's got her eye on the Chocolate Raspberry Eclair Cake (pictured on the cover) but that one has to wait until I can try it, too.

This book is packed with recipes for bars, brownies, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cheesecake, ice cream cake, pies and no-bake treats. It will take us a while to work through the recipes that look good to us. In addition to the yummy recipes, they share ideas for movie night snacks (flavored popcorn!), a neighborhood cookie walk, packaging treats and much more! This is a book I will be using for many years to come!

The Six Sisters—Camille, Kristen, Elyse, Stephanie, Lauren, and Kendra—grew up in Utah, but a few of them have lived in other parts of the country since moving out of the house. Between them there are five nieces and three nephews, and all of the sisters love playing "aunt." The sisters started the blog in February 2011 to keep in touch while they were apart, but it has since gained popularity, garnering more than 9 million viewers per month and more than 307,000 followers on Pinterest.
